From one heart...
I go there everyday, you know,
To see how much she's grown.
I've watched her from a baby, small,
A person she's never known.
She has her mother and father there,
watching her play without a care.
They look upon her and smile,
I stay and watch for a while.
But this child will never know,
as I sit and watch her grow.
The pain I feel deep inside,
for the love I have, I have to hide.
She's not mine, that isn't fair.
For the love that I had once, I had to share.
This love has left, wanted to be free,
never really a part of me.
It still hurt's deep inside though,
watching this little girl grow.
And all the while I will only be,
A person, she will never know me.
To see how much she's grown.
I've watched her from a baby, small,
A person she's never known.
She has her mother and father there,
watching her play without a care.
They look upon her and smile,
I stay and watch for a while.
But this child will never know,
as I sit and watch her grow.
The pain I feel deep inside,
for the love I have, I have to hide.
She's not mine, that isn't fair.
For the love that I had once, I had to share.
This love has left, wanted to be free,
never really a part of me.
It still hurt's deep inside though,
watching this little girl grow.
And all the while I will only be,
A person, she will never know me.
