It seem's to me that there are not alot of honest hearted people left in this world. I always try to do the right thing, or rather, what I think is the right thing.
Granted, I don't always get it right, but then, who does? I have made mistakes along the way, some I regret, others I have learned by. But that is what life is about isn't it? A learning curve? Don't we have to fall over in order to learn too stand on two legs?
So why is it that some people just don't accept when other's make a mistake?
I can think of several reason's why off the top of my head. But not when it come's to matter's of the "heart". I can never understand why emotions always take a hold so strong.
So my situation goes as follows:
I was in the market, minding my own business (as you do), when I bumped into a lady who was clearly going the wrong way, to fast! Long version short, she would'nt accept a sorry for the life of me! She just continued to hurl abuse as she was walking the other way!
This got me thinking on the rest of life's little up's and down's. I guess in order to accept, people have to be of the right heart to admit they are humble and that they might in fact be wrong. This can be applied to anything within reason.
So this is just a sound off.. we are all wrong at various points of our life.. the question is.. are we to proud too admit it?

I believe emotions take such a large hold on our lives because they are one of the few aspects of self that we feel we can control but honestly we rarely do.
This becomes especially important in matters of the heart because feelings like love and kindness are direct lines to our inner most selves. That being said some people are especially sensitive and will not forgive any infraction in that area. Its kinda sad because most people who freak are not assholes who are cut from there emotions its because there to sensitive and will play any role to protect there emotions.
I believe the ability to admit we are wrong stems from humility but must also be backed by courage to ever speak our faults.

It's one thing to admit we are wrong another thing to say sorry, and a totally different thing to actually MEAN that sorry.
So many times the word "sorry" is used. But the question is, do we have the conviction to stand by that sorry, and mean it not only to the person we are saying it to, but also too ourselves?
